St Hallett is nestled between acres of lush vineyard and the banks of the Para River, just outside of Tanunda, the red heart of the Barossa Valley.
Over three generations St Hallett has grown, changed and reinvented itself at every fork in the road, to achieve a rare distinction as one of Australia’s most respected wine brands. Through grim determination, heartbreak and near financial collapse the Lindner family managed to make a meagre living in their galvo shed in the middle of the Barossa. More than 70 years on from these humble beginnings, St Hallett has established a reputation for making wines with exceptional quality and character.
A favourite spot for all locals in vintage festivals past, we are thrilled that St Hallett are re-offering their venue to host weddings and events. St Hallett offers couples an authentic outdoor winery experience with amazing award-winning wines, along with the flexibility to select your own preference of catering and hire providers.
The stunning 400-year-old gum trees provide a lovely canopy of shade and a beautiful backdrop for a picturesque ceremony. The expansive lush lawns are perfect for that dreamy open-air reception, and can accommodate, drum roll please, up to 500 people! Finally, a winery with plenty of space, loads of freedom, and easy vehicle access for tipis, a long table or festival-style food truck wedding.
Photo opportunities are abundant, with the surrounding vineyards, original buildings, adjoining open paddocks and country roads.
If you enjoy quality wine and country charm but also want the flexibility to organise your own preference of suppliers, then you cannot look past this property!
