Located in the heart of McLaren Vale, our venue has recently been renovated to capture uninterrupted views of the Southern Mount Lofty Ranges, creating a space that feels both timeless and contemporary.
Say your vows on the lawns that flow between the vines and the restaurant, framed by golden light and rolling hills. With the vines as your aisle and the ranges as your backdrop, it is a setting that feels made for romance. From there, step into the enclosed courtyard, a sophisticated indoor and outdoor space with festoon lighting, paved floors and ceiling fans for comfort year-round. Neutral tones and natural textures allow you to style the space your way, from minimalist elegance to lavish floral installations.
Ekhidna accommodates up to 200 guests (120 seated) and offers multiple indoor and outdoor spaces, including undercover options for all-weather celebrations. Whether you are planning a shared long-table feast or a relaxed cocktail reception, every event is tailored to you.
Led by Executive Chef Kane Livingston, the kitchen showcases the best of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Each menu is handcrafted with locally sourced, seasonal produce, a little of it grown in our own garden, and paired beautifully with Ekhidna’s award-winning wines.
