Glanville Hall

Adelaide’s beaches are known for their mild climate, trendy cafes and coast-culture, so sometimes hidden gems like Glanville Hall come as a surprise. Located just inland from Semaphore’s popular beach is the historic stone manor, set on a huge property of beautifully manicured gardens and private golf course. Built in 1856 and once owned by South Australia’s first Premier, the property is now a lovingly restored venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions.

For your ceremony, choose between six locations within the sprawling gardens or in an intimate room inside the manor. Glanville Hall’s Victorian Tudor building with its grand tower and grounds are the ideal setting for photography and lend well to any style, be it beachy-chic, boho or more traditional.

Glanville Hall can cater up to 110 seated, or 300 standing. Your reception can be exactly what you dreamed of, with flexible dining options – from breakfast, lunch or high tea through to cocktail, formal sit-down dinner or even a pizza party with their very own wood-fired oven!

If you were hoping for more of a casual party atmosphere, couples also have the option for an open-air reception or a marquee for the festivities, seating up to 340.

The experienced events team at Glanville Hall specialise in creating personalised weddings that match your personality, so no request is too hard.

Glanville Hall has got everything all wrapped up into one neat little package – history meets beach babe, right at your doorstep. What more could you ask for?
