Cobb’s Hill Estate is a beautiful Adelaide Hills winery venue set on 250 acres of abundant farmland, with over 75 acres of vineyards, a herd of black angus cattle, babydoll sheep and a breathtaking botanic garden surrounding their modern cellar door, wedding pavilion and terrace.

Located in Oakbank, just 30 minutes from Adelaide’s CBD, Cobb’s Hill Estate has a rich history dating back to 1854. The property provided pastures for Cobb & Co horses employed for pulling stagecoaches through the Adelaide Hills. 

Known quietly as one of Adelaide Hills’ most beautiful gardens, the sprawling grounds are scattered with vibrant flowers and deciduous plants including shady oak trees that provide a lush backdrop for an outdoor ceremony any time of year. Whilst a summer wedding is on many couples wish lists, our pick for Cobb’s Hill Estate would be an autumn wedding – offering a kaleidoscope of colourful leaves and scenery. 

The garden is complete with a tranquil lake, stone walled creek and multiple spacious lawn areas ideal for photo’s, pre-dinner drinks and canapés. Their new pavilion is the perfect setting for your wedding, accommodating up to 200 people with larger group options available on request. Nestled in the private eastern gardens, it offers a self-contained entertainment space. For more intimate groups, their terrace provides an elegant entertainment area with magnificent views through the botanical gardens to the valley and rolling hills beyond.

Exclusive access to Cobb’s Hill Estate and the full grounds is available from 5.00pm onwards, however an earlier start time can be negotiated. 

There’s no need to worry about bringing in food and beverage suppliers as Cobb’s Hill Estate has got your all your needs taken care of. In fact, this is a bit of a special venue as their packages are fully inclusive – venue hire includes all the essential items as well as the food and drinks package, use of their on-site Pavilion!
