Littlewood Farm

A spacious and charming Adelaide Hills sanctuary, Littlewood Farm is a 20-hectare working flower farm on the outskirts of Littlehampton, offering much more than a standard garden wedding venue.

This former dairy was converted into an agapanthus farm during the 1970’s and has been devotedly growing and distributing the florals to visitors ever since, but in recent years the family have opened up their beautiful space as a venue for weddings and events. With the ability to accommodate smaller country weddings of 50 guests, through to large gatherings of 200 guests, Littlewood Farm ticks so many boxes.

The minute you enter the property you will be impressed with its versatility and beauty. The sloping hillside paddocks offer wide open space for large celebrations, while the neat winding paths of their manicured gardens and the central lake provide a more intimate location for ceremonies. Then of course there is the vibrant agapanthus patch, with its rows of greenery that burst with colour in Spring and Summer. All of these spaces can be used in a variety of ways to create the hills wedding of your dreams.

With a dedicated and modern function space, Littlewood is well-equipped to host weddings and events. The light-filled Pavilion is an undercover area featuring polished concrete floors, festoon lighting and a bar that can accommodate up to 80 guests for a formal seated reception, or 200 guests for a cocktail style function. The Pavilion opens up to a spacious Landing that offers an elevated view of the farm and countryside, perfect for those sunset cocktails and later as an open-air dance floor! This space also backs onto a purpose-built outdoor kitchen, equipped with terrazzo benches and a wood fired oven.

The catering flexibility is what we love most about Littlewood Farm. You have the option to choose a caterer from their list of preferred suppliers, or to select your own. You can even wheel in your choice of food vans! You can easily pair your catering with the beverage package offered by Littlewood, which is included in their package pricing. This venue offers couples so much value – also included in their pricing is furniture for your ceremony and reception, including chairs, tables and a beautiful permanent timber arbour.

Littlewood Farm is offered for weddings through an exclusive partnership with VENYU, meaning that couples not only have our support throughout the planning process, they also have the assistance from the Littlewood Farm team on the day. There’s no need to organise bar staff, set up and pack down as this is all done for you!

Despite its peaceful setting, Littlewood Farm is conveniently located just 25 minutes from Adelaide. This venue is also an easy 5 minute drive to wineries such as The Lane Vineyard and Shaw + Smith, and the cute heritage hamlet of Hahndorf, which offers a long list of boutique accommodation options for your guests.

Littlewood Farm also has its own unique self-contained bed and breakfast onsite, known as The Loft. Sleeping up to 4 guests, this is a convenient space for the bridal party the night prior and a peaceful retreat for couples to relax at the end of their big day.
