Brin Farm

A secret hills location with hidden gum forests and horses roaming the property, Brin Farm is a dry hire wedding venue that is every child’s pony club dreams come to life.

Brin Farm first and foremost is a well-recognised horse stud, raising and breeding champion dilute horses, and through our exclusive VENYU partnership this remarkable and immaculately well-maintained private estate is available for weddings for a limited number of couples each year.

Located in the southern Adelaide Hills, east of Clarendon and west of Kangarilla, the property’s rich soils and gentle hills overlook some of the finest meadows and forests in the Fleurieu Peninsula. Grazing the 30-acre property are around 18 beautiful horses, the gentlest of which are offered by arrangement for personalised photography.

Less than 200 metres walk from the entrance down a white gravel drive is ‘The Woodlot’. Littered by big gums, the 2-acre gently sloping paddock overlooks the meadows and dam. The Woodlot is a whimsical romantic setting for a shaded ceremony, and provides a beautiful backdrop for your special family and sunset photos. Another magical setting for a colourful, leafy ceremony (especially vibrant during Autumn), is Claret Ash Avenue.

The private homestead, wrapped by beautiful gardens, backs onto an obscenely large turfed lawn which overlooks the property and the surrounding hills. Facing North, a grand old Elm tree graces this and space provides a beautiful backdrop for your ceremony, with or without arbour! Facing South, the lower lawns are also a lovely spot for your nuptials.

The Homestead Lawns are also a perfect location for your guests to spread out and enjoy lawn games! The homestead’s large Poolside Verandah is a protected outdoor space that provides a great entertaining area, ideal for cocktail hour or intimate gatherings.

The pièce de résistance at Brin Farm is The Saddlery – a brand new all-weather event space. A refined blend of rustic Australian charm and modern sophistication, The Saddlery features a neutral palette, power & lighting, timber bar space, kitchen area, private lounge for couples and stylish modern bathrooms. This space can easily accommodate up to 150 guests for a seated or cocktail style event, with plenty of room still for your DJ or band and dancefloor.

Brin Farm is offered as a dry hire property allowing you full flexibility to make your own alcohol and catering arrangements, but with all the conveniences of a full-service venue! Additionally, all spaces offer good vehicle access allowing food trucks, mobile bars and large equipment hire to be easily set-up.

As a VENYU exclusive, you will have the support of a VENYU Event Manager to guide you through the planning process.

Brin Farm is only a 35 minute drive from Adelaide CBD, making bus and accommodation transfer simple. Just minutes from the beautiful Kuitpo Forest, this unique rural setting is available for ceremony or full-day wedding hire.
