Set in the heart of the world-renowned Riesling vineyards of the Clare Valley, The Grounds of Florita is a chic wedding venue that strikes a balance between relaxed and refined.

Upon arrival at the property, you are greeted by a long picturesque driveway lined with mature trees opening onto beautifully manicured grounds and the Jim Barry Wines ‘Florita’ vineyard. The setting feels considered without trying too hard, with expansive valley views and a quiet sense of exclusivity.

At the centre of the estate is a stunning circa-1892 stone homestead layered with creeping vines, and oozing history and character. With its timber shutters and cute little Juliet balcony, it feels as if the grand homestead was taken straight from the pages of a Jane Austen romance.

An elegant red brick staircase leading up to the building adds a sense of occasion and offers a natural focal point for arrivals and wedding party photography. The whole space feels grounded and authentic, with just a little bit of European royalty thrown in.

The surrounding garden area is open and spacious, easily accommodating up to 200 guests. Being an outdoor venue, we love that they have already included a marquee as part of their wedding packages. This creates a natural flow between your ceremony and reception, allowing the day to unfold with ease.

With sweeping vineyard views in every direction and the charming architecture of the original homestead on show, the sheer number of stunning photo locations across the estate make it easy to get those golden hour snaps.

The offering extends beyond the celebration itself, with two nights of premium accommodation for the couple included just 15 minutes away at the Mill Street Retreat in Clare. Additionally, they offer discounted accommodation for guests at their other locations.
