Are you searching for the ‘has it all’ venue of your dreams? Well you may have just found it…

The Vine Shed is a purpose-built function venue unlike any other. This modern industrial style venue in the heart of McLaren Vale is surrounded by historic vineyards (home to the oldest vines in the region) and sits adjacent to a tranquil lake.

Offering complete exclusivity, the Vine Shed will be available for both ceremonies and receptions. The gardens are ideal for ceremonies and open-air celebrations, with plenty of room for the kids as well – the venue has its own secure play space!

The exterior features a deck overlooking the vineyards and lake, complete with hanging festoon lights. Stepping inside reveals its stunning modern amenities, high ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and timber details throughout. The space can seat up to 180 people, or alternatively 200 for a standing cocktail function.

In addition to the large main area, there is a small mezzanine level “The Loft”, which is available for extra seating and also includes its own deck. And, if you’re looking for a winter venue, the Vine Shed has you covered with an outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace to keep you and your guests toasty.

A fully equipped commercial kitchen and bar completes the package and couples can select a caterer from their list of preferred suppliers or choose their own – a food van perhaps? Vegan-friendly Conte Estate drinks packages are available including bottles of their sparkling for your toast, and can be tailored to your needs.

Our wedding at the Vine Shed was absolutely incredible.

We already loved the venue from the lunches we had in the lead up, because the food, drinks and service were always amazing, but the wedding day went far beyond anything we expected. One of our favourite things about the Vine Shed is that the entire venue is exclusively yours for the day. There are no other weddings on the property, no sharing the space and no distractions. It feels private, intimate and completely centred around you and your guests, which made the whole day feel even more special. We also chose their decor package, and it was one of the best decisions we made. It looked beautiful and saved us so much stress with planning and setup. Having it all handled by their team made the morning so much calmer and everything came together perfectly. We were hit with a massive storm right before the ceremony and Dianna and her team handled everything flawlessly. Within minutes they had the backup plan ready, and the space still looked beautiful. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating about every single thing. Nothing was ever too hard, and it was so clear that their priority was making sure the day ran smoothly and that everyone was having a great time. The bartenders were fantastic, and the drinks just kept coming. The food was honestly some of the best we have ever had and so many of our guests told us the same. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, friendly and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. Choosing the Vine Shed was one of the best decisions we made. We are so excited that we get to keep coming back for lunches, wine tastings and picnics in the years ahead, and keep celebrating the place where we promised our lives to each other.
