Styled Shoot | Marybank Estate
Quietly nestled in the lush surrounds of Adelaide’s foothills, a nifty 20 minutes from the Adelaide CBD, sits Marybank Estate – a historic property bursting with character and romantic whimsy.
Marybank is the latest Adelaide Hills location for a series of beautifully styled wedding shoots, headed by Alex Szczesniak, the creative genius behind Time with Alex.
This venue is one of Adelaide’s oldest and still privately owned estates, whose Georgian architecture is beautifully complemented by the carefully curated selection of interior details, and seemed fitting for this shoot.
Inspiration for many of the details including styling and florals were taken from both the enchanting gardens of the venue and the unique pink and floral bridal gown, which was kindly supplied by local SA legend Couture Love Madness.
Coordination of this shoot was planned by the crew at Easy As Events, and as you can see from the photos, the entire team of suppliers came together to achieve an elegant and modern barn wedding.
The cosy ceremony inside Marybank‘s heritage barn was styled with crystal clear plinths by Adelaide Wedding Hire and floral arrangements with a subtle vintage vibe, that almost appear to float, by Sweet Nothings Flowers. The botanic style cake was provided by Blossom Bar Cakery.
Outdoors the open-air reception, framed by the barn’s iconic climbing Banskia rose, was styled by Sweet Nothings Flowers using a combination of small floral centrepieces and vintage candelabras, with menus and stationery by The Ivory Scribe. Hire items were by Minty Mary Pea and Modern Party Hire, including the giant chess that was used on the venue’s spacious deck, with accent lighting by Amuse Lighting.
Our models Rubi and Letsi, from Azalea Models, had hair and makeup by Chloe Ellouise and were dressed by Oscar Hunt and Couture Love Madness. Rubi’s earrings were kindly provided by A’el Este.
Mr Samuel James was the officiant for the ceremony, and the evening festivities were presented by Adelaide’s own The Neapolitans, with every detail captured in its glory by Time with Alex and House of Love Films.
