Something borrowed, something blue… Eliza and Patrick’s Clare Valley wedding featured a bright burst of royal blue styling and florals and it’s giving us Italian Riviera vibes with a modern twist!
We had a chat with E & P about their glamorous country estate wedding at Hughes Park. The beverages and catering were selected from local Clare Valley suppliers, which unsurprisingly the guests raved about, and we think they would have been equally impressed by that epic light canopy installation by Mid North Party Hire.
Their choice of florals by Shack Flowers featured a palette of blues (of course) and greens for the aisle installation and round table centrepieces, including a stunning variety of hydrangeas, and pinks for the cake decoration and long table centrepieces.
Both Patrick’s suit and Eliza’s dress were custom designs which, by the way, we adore. The soft tulle corset on Eliza’s dress is so dreamy and not something you see very often, and she paired this with a set of svelte satin pumps – so chic.
Our favourite detail, however, is the special part that Eliza’s mum Carollyn played in their day. A talented graphic designer and artist based in Adelaide, she designed all the fun blue artwork, stationery and custom signage used throughout their wedding and around the venue. If you look close enough, you’ll notice the unique design features a sketch of Hughes Park’s iconic homestead, what a thoughtful touch!
