Eliza and Will married at Lake Breeze Wines on a gloriously sunny Autumn day, and we couldn’t help but gush over their wedding photos.
Eliza and Will’s story is as cute as they are – they are high school sweethearts, having met at a friend’s 16th birthday party.
We had a chat with Eliza and Will about themselves as a couple, and asked them to reveal some details of their special day.
“Our day was perfect. We both felt like we savoured every moment and the day didn’t rush past us.
Our wedding day couldn’t have been more us – lots of special moments between just the two of us, surrounded by our closest family and friends, and a bit of a boogie to finish (all of our favourite things!)”
What made you choose Lake Breeze Wines?
My brothers friends were married at Lake Breeze recently and posted an Instagram story of the entire venue, and we fell in love! It was the first and only place we visited.
What was your vision for your wedding day?
We didn’t have a particular vision for the day, for me I just wanted to be saying “I do” to the love of my life. As soon as we saw the venue we knew it would speak for itself, without needing a particular vision!
Did you include any special personal touches?
We incorporated all three of my brothers into the day in some way and also the daughter of one of my bridesmaids as the flower girl. Both were very special to us.
What did you think of Lake Breeze Wines as a venue?
We can’t recommend Lake Breeze enough – the venue is gorgeous (particularly in Autumn when we married) and Ash and the Lake Breeze staff are so helpful from the minute you make contact.
More specifically for Lake Breeze, communication was timely (whether it was a year out or the day before) and no question was too much for Ash and the team, which was important to us because we had no idea how to plan a wedding!
What was your favourite moment of the day?
Straight after the ceremony where it was just us soaking up the moment, whilst our witnesses signed the certificate. Also it was beautiful spending time wandering through the vineyards.
How do you feel about your day looking back on it?
We’ve had many guests provide feedback that not only was the venue absolutely beautiful, the food was to die for (I personally still dream about the gnocchi), but also the staff were so kind and wanted to ensure everyone was having a good time and well looked after.
