Germeinium Estate is a truly unique 80-acre estate set against the breathtaking backdrop of towering forest and rolling vineyards, and for the very first time is opening the gates to couples as a wedding venue!

Located in Jupiter Creek near the charming hills town of Echunga, Germeinium Estate is both rich in history and natural beauty. Originally a thriving gold mining site in the late 1800s, the property has evolved over time, hosting the South Australian Mounted Grey Police horses and Police dogs in the 1930s and even serving as a home to exotic animals including ostriches and emus. Today, it offers couples a picturesque and totally private setting with a strong sense of heritage, making it the perfect venue for a wedding celebration.

While the privacy of their location is a huge selling point, we think the highlight of this venue is its iconic Clydesdale horses, Alphie and Humphrey. Known for their appearances at the Adelaide Show, these gentle giants bring an added touch of magic to your day, serving as the perfect addition to your ceremony or wedding photos. Their significance to the estate makes them more than just a lovely feature – they embody the spirit of Germeinium Estate!

The property’s expansive grounds offer several locations for couples to host their dream wedding, and every corner of the estate offering its own unique charm. With many scenic locations across the property for photos including a rustic barn and their own vintage flatbed truck (which can conveniently double as a stage for your entertainment), couples are really spoilt for choice!

Catering to weddings of all sizes, they can host up to 350 guests for cocktail-style events or 250 guests for seated receptions. From seated dinners to casual cocktail receptions, their flexible packages make it easy to tailor your catering based on your preferences. They also offer options for beverage packages, equipment rentals, and styling add-ons, ensuring that every detail is covered for your special day.

They are situated just 5 minutes from nearby Echunga and the town’s local amenities, however you’ll be pleased to hear that Germeinium Estate offers their own onsite accommodation, sleeping up to 8 guests across two cottages.
