Templewood is a 200 acre property situated on the edge of the Millbrook Reservoir Reserve among some of the prettiest and most accessible parts of the Adelaide Hills. Just thirty five minutes from the CBD and only fifteen minutes from Tea Tree Plaza. It’s home to Templewood Horse Riding Centre and Templewood House, a turn of the century country lodge whose manicured gardens provide an incredible backdrop for weddings and events.

The grounds of Templewood House provide everything you need in a venue and nothing you don’t. With inclusions of ceremony furniture; some occasional furniture for post ceremony drinks; a floored pavilion and dancefloor including tables and chairs to party the night away; ambiance is provided by the festoon and fairy lighting strewn across the gardens; and of course they provide a bar, the service team and everything you need to serve your guests your BYO drinks. This is all included in the package! Then just choose your own caterer to suit your style of wedding.

Unlike a lot of other spaces, Templewood House has all the logistics in place to make running your event easy including a commercial kitchen, foodtruck pad for parking right on the lawn, plenty of bathrooms, access to power and water and a fully equipped bar and coolroom. This combined with the flexibility to provide your own catering and bring in your own drinks means that it’s actually quite an affordable option.

The Edwardian styled lodge includes a private ‘bridal retreat’ for getting ready with your tribe, and there is even accommodation should you need it.  Templewood House is the kind of property that is suited to most styles, whether that be modern, rustic, boho or vintage luxury.

The property provides endless photo opportunities from the minute you arrive with a stately driveway, gorgeous horses at every corner, a large natural dam, ancient gums and incredible 360 sunset views from the High Paddock.
