Famous for being the first winery restaurant in the McLaren Vale region, Woodstock has been proudly hosting weddings at their McLaren Flat location for over 25 years. Nestled among the towering gums and located next to the tranquil Woodstock Wildlife Sanctuary, Woodstock is one of those venues that has you feeling at-one with nature.
Choose between a ceremony under the shady gums with the vineyards as a backdrop, or in front of the fallen log. Either way, there is sufficient space for up 120 guests. There are an abundance of photography locations including the grounds and rustic outbuildings, vineyards and the wildlife sanctuary teeming with native birds and animals.
If you’re looking for something a little fun to entertain your guests while you have your private photo session, make use of their included wooden lawn games. Did someone say Jenga?
The restaurant’s name Coterie was chosen literally by the meaning of the word – the gathering of a group of people (or circle of friends) for a specific purpose. And we think you probably know what that’s all about – great food and of course great wine! This idea also seems to have been reflected in the unique semi-circle design of the building. Its floor to ceiling windows allow the natural light to stream in and beautifully captures the lush bush setting.
There is little to do yourselves at Woodstock, meaning your day is that much easier to plan. All beverages, dining and wedding coordination are included, plus loads of other details.
Woodstock have teamed up with the great Cargo catering, so you can rest assured that your food preferences and dietary requirements will be considered for you and every one of your guests.
Accommodation is also taken care of at Woodstock. Can we get a hell yeah? Two nights’ accommodation for up to 6 guests is included for all weddings at their on-site 3-bedroom / 2-bathroom log cabin. The cabin is surrounded by the wildlife sanctuary and neighbouring Blewitt Springs vineyards.
With a long list of great inclusions and a location that will be sure to draw you in, there is so much to love about Woodstock.
