A heritage barn venue set amongst the rolling hills and vineyards of the Adelaide Hills, Longview is a spacious yet intimate wedding venue with so much to offer.

Just 45 minutes from the Adelaide CBD, the aptly named Longview feels a world away with vineyards as far as the eye can see and a genuine sense of calm that is hard to mimic. Located on a site that was once a dairy, the converted heritage milking barn that now serves as Longview’s restaurant and function space combines rustic details original to the structure with contemporary and luxurious conveniences.

Overlooking the estate’s Macclesfield vineyards, the Heritage Barn features a pitched roof with large timber beams, private bar and a stone fireplace with wood fire heating perfect for a modern country wedding. Adding to the features of this already beautiful space, the building has also undergone a recent upgrade, with updates to the kitchen and an extension added to the main dining area, allowing more room for your guests to relax. Polished concrete flooring and huge metal framed wrap around windows allow natural light to fill the space, as well as capturing the most incredible views of the vines and hills beyond.

The Heritage Barn comfortably accommodates up to 180 guests for a seated reception, or up to 220 guests for a cocktail function, along with a separate area for bands or DJs as well as a dance floor. No need for furniture to be moved around for the party later in the night!

There are multiple spaces that can be utilised for your ceremony at Longview, with both indoor and outdoor options, but we think the hero spot would be the ceremony lawns, with its backdrop of vines and twin palms.

As a full-service venue, absolutely everything is catered for at Longview, with beverage packages that include their estate-grown cool climate wines and fresh, seasonal dishes prepared by Longview chefs, headed by the respected Alastair Raymond. With every wedding booked at Longview comes a fantastic team of knowledgeable staff that will guide you through the process, for an effortless celebration of love and nothing for you to do but take in every moment of your special day.
