Beach Road Wines

From humble beginnings, Beach Road Wines is now fast becoming the place to be and the venue to consider for those that want something relaxed and slightly different, that still maintains winery chic.

Just a two minute drive from the centre of McLaren Vale Beach Road sits on the northern rise of the valley affording it spectacular views over McLaren Vale, the Willunga plains and the Fleurieu coast line surrounding them. These views were something that was carefully considered in the build of their iconic deck space. The space itself is large enough to accommodate up to 140 guests in a cocktail style function, it lends itself ceremonies, receptions and we love the idea of even converting it to a sneaky outdoor dancefloor.

The deck is but one of three spaces that are available for events and each allow half a dozen different variations. The flowering garden behind the cellar door is a large yet warm space that suits ceremonies and open-air receptions. This space is as delicious as their unique Italian style wines and on that note if you need an extra guest just remember who suggested this venue, we’re always happy to sample these babies. The English Plane Tree is also another stunning option in terms of spaces and especially appropriate for your vowels.

It’s unusual for us to say but we honestly are not sure how you’d choose between these three spaces, each of them are beautifully warm and actually would need only a small amount of decorating, a few vases of flowers here and there and you’d have all the ingredients for a stunning wedding (and this is coming from a stylist!).

Beach Road Wines is a full-service venue and at the centre of it is a mouth-watering locally sourced menu of wood oven pizza, canapes and shared feasts that have been perfected over many a weekend of trade and is guaranteed not to disappoint.

Available for exclusive hire both on weekends and mid week this venue to us is all about easy planning, relaxed family dinner vibes, good food and good wine, a good dose of style and of course fun. And really what else do you need? ❤️
